Irina grew up in Gremychinsk, South Russia, in a Caucasian mountain village. Her great grandmother was renowned as a skilful healer, the last of a long line of Shamans.
Since graduating in BA Fine Arts at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, Irina has been a professional artist, exhibiting in several galleries and art fairs. Her canvasses are always full of colour, vibrancy and sensuality.
“The goal of my art is to learn how to see and feel what is behind ordinary vision and feelings, to bring that something out with a much deeper meaning. If I am able to achieve this, my paintings can show there is an essence behind every shape and form.”
Irina currently lives and works in Kent.
